DORCHESTER ANNOUNCES MANAGEMENT APPOINTMENTS AND
RESCHEDULED AGM AND EGM

Management Appointments
Dorchester Pacific advises the appointments of two General Managers. The two roles replace the previous management team of six executives. Both roles will report to Executive Director Paul Byrnes who will continue in the Executive Director role on a part-time rather than full-time basis.
Mr Henry Lynch has been appointed General Manager Group Operations and takes up responsibility for all group operations including Dorchester Life, Senate and new consumer and motor vehicle lending. Henry has managed the Dorchester Life business since October 2006 and prior to that held senior executive and management roles at Tower and Westpac.
Mr Tristram van der Meijden has been appointed General Manager Finance & Property with responsibilities for all accounting, finance, IT and property loans. Tristram was Chief Financial Officer at Dorchester in 2006 and 2007 and in 2008 assisted the company in developing and finalising the Deferred Repayment Plan. Previously, Tristram spent three years at Grant Thornton and two years in a property and finance role.
Annual General Meeting and Extraordinary General Meeting
Dorchester Pacific advises its rescheduled Annual General Meeting of shareholders will be held on Tuesday 17 February 2009 commencing at 2.00 p.m. at the Ellerslie Event Centre, 80-100 Ascot Avenue, Greenlane, Auckland. The Extraordinary General Meeting will be held immediately on completion of the Annual General Meeting.
For the purposes of NZX Listing Rule 3.3.2 the closing date for director nominations is 4.00 p.m. Wednesday 28 January 2009.
Nominations may only be made by a shareholder entitled to attend and vote at the Annual General Meeting and must be accompanied by the consent in writing of the nominated person.
